Advanced Horse Back Ride through St Maarten’s Beautiful Nature
We are organizing something super awesome!!!
The 5th of January, we are going on a 2.5 hour ride from seaside nature park to Divi little bay! Afterwards we are going to have lunch at our beach side pavilion and restaurant La Hacienda!
The ride will be for intermediate and advanced rider only! You need to be able to trot and canter comfortably by yourself.
We start at 10am at Seaside nature park.
- Price: $85 p.p. ($20 discount for residents, bring your ID)
- Pre-register required
- Bring reef safe sunscreen!
- Limited amount of places available!

SXM DOET: So Honored by Your Participation!
Wow, with a few days to go we are proud to announce that the participation in SXM DOET and our beautification project has been superb and we are totally surprised but honored by all of your help. And we haven’t even started!
Please don’t let this prevent you from coming by to help. As you know, there are always last minute cancellations and walk-ins remain possible, of course. Even if just for a couple of hours, come by on Friday March 15th or Saturday the 16th and help us create a brand new, shiny, fresh Discovery Farm for all of our children where they can learn, understand and play with animals.
SXM DOET 2019
We are participating again this year in SXM DOET… This time to get help restoring the children’s petting zoo aka “Discovery Farm” to the state it was in before hurricane Irma hit in 2017.
Beautification by painting the paddocks & houses, painting the classroom building in the farm, planting of new plants, seedlings & trees, general gardening & clean up.
There are two days you can choose to help out: Friday or Saturday. Both days are from 10:00AM to 4:00PM but you are not required to stay the whole time.
If you are coming, please wear something to protect you from the sun and bring (reef-safe) sunscreen. Also, wear solid, comfortable shoes as the ground is sloped and rocky with loose rocks all around. Watch your steps!

Job Opening: Pet Farm Staff
We looking for staff for our pet farm at Seaside Nature Park.
You will be in charge of the care for the animals, organising events, hosting field trips and do small repairs. It’s a hands-on job, outdoor job.
